The new film ‘Maheshinte Prathikaram’ will bring together Fahadh Faasil and Anusree once again after ‘Diamond necklace’. In the film to be directed by new comer Dileesh Pothen, Anusree will do a nurse’s role.

         Aparna Nair to play nun in her next    
Aparna Nair, known for her role in Cocktail, is gearing up to play a nun in her next film. She will play a nun in Doubles director Sohan Seenulal’s new film titled Vanyam.

         Anjali Vijay pairs up with Sethupathi    
Anjali is going to play the lead in Karthik Subbaraj’s multi-starrer, titled Eravi. The main characters are played by Vijay Sethupathi, S J Surya, Simha, Karunaran and Kali Venkit. Subbaraj is also the director of Jigarthanda and Pizza.

         Songs of 'Kumbasaaram' released    
The songs of the upcoming Jayasurya starrer, Kumbasaaram have been released through the YouTube channel of Muzik 247, the movie's official audio label. There are four tracks, which are composed by Vishnu Mohan Sithara. Kumbasaram is slated to hit the big screens this Friday and promises to be a suspenseful adventure.

         Charmy as charming actress    
South Indian actress Charmy Kaur is going to act as old-time gorgeous beauty Jyothi Lekshmy. The film will be directed by Puri Jagannathan. Charmy agreed to sign for the film as soon as she heard its story.

         Shruti Hassan to pair up with Imran Khan again    
Shruti Hassan, daughter of Kamal Hassan, are pairing up with Imran Khan again. The two will be seen in the Hindi remake of the Tamil film Kalyana Samayal Sadham directed by R S Prasanna. Prasanna and Lekha Washington played the main characters in the film.

         Bharat speaks Tamil in Malayalam film    
South Indian star Bharat is going to do a notable character in Malayalam next. He will be acting in ‘Lord Livingstone 7000 Kandi’ to be directed by Anil Radhakrishnan. He will be speaking Tamil in the film.

         Nayanthara in Rajanikanth film    
Nayanthara is busy with many projects in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. There were reports that the actress would be paired with Chiranjeevi in his 150th film. Unconfirmed reports say the actress will be paired opposite Rajanikanth in his new film.

         Anoop, Bhama in Malgudi Days    
After a small gap, south Indian star Bhama will act in Malayalam film. The film has been titled Malgudi days starring Anoop Menon.

         Shobana in Thira part 2    
The second part of Thira, directed by Vineeth Srinivasan, is coming soon. Shobana will play Rohini Pranab, the main character in the film. But Vineeth’s brother Dhyan, who had acted in the first part of the film, will not be there this time. More details are not known.

Some websites had carried the news of the secret marriage of actress Nayanthara to Tamil director Vignesh Sivan. The two came forward when it got viral in the social media.

As she turns a year older today, Bollywood dance queen Madhuri Dixit says age just does not bother her as it is just a number for her. “Age is just a number for me. It doesn’t scare me. It doesn’t stop me from doing anything. I feel talent is timeless and I believe in it,” Madhuri, who turned 48 today, said in an interview.

This is for the first time that she would be acting in a full-fledged commercial film. The director is Thomas Sebastian. Gayatri Suresh will be cast opposite Kunchacko Boban.

         Dileep as Apoorva G.V    
Dileep will play the lead role in Doctor Love’s director K Biju’s next film, titled Apoorva G.V. Biju will double-up as scenarist for the film. The film is expected to be a humour-filled family entertainer. G V stands for George Vadakkan.

         Nivin dreams, Manjima gets    
In Oru Vadakkan Selfie, the character of Nivin Pauly dreams of working with noted filmmaker Gautham Menon. In real life, Manjima Mohan's dream to work with the director has come true as she has been cast in his Accham Enbadhu Madamaiyada with Chimbu.

         Salman Khan resumes shooting of 'Bajrani Bhaijaan' in Kashmir    
SRINAGAR: Superstar Salman Khan has begun filming the final leg of his upcoming Eid release "Bajrani Bhaijaan" here. Salman, 49, who was sentenced to five years imprisonment by a Mumbai sessions court in the 2002 hit-and-run case which was later suspended by the Bombay High Court, will shoot in the Valley for five days.

         Jayasurya in ‘wheelchair’    
Jayasurya will play a physically challenged person in Nadirsha’s Amar Akbar Antony. The actor is keen in doing different roles in each of his film. The actor is thrilled to do the role after V K Prakash’ Beautiful.

         Asif Ali in guest role    
In Amar Akbar Antony to be directed by Nadir Shah for the first time, Asif Ali will do a cameo. Prithviraj, Indrajith and Jayasurya are the heroes. As the name suggests, the film is about three friends Amar, Akbar and Antony and their lives. Namitha Pramod is the heroine in the role of a cinematic dancer.

         Ananya in Malayalam again    
After a short gap Ananya is returning to Malayalam films. Director Jiju Ashokan has roped in Ananya for his second film Urumbukal Urangarilla after his debut film Last Bench released in 2012. She was last seen in Kalyanism which bombed at the box office.
