Kalavoor Hanumaruveliyil Vasudevan’s son Sunil Kumar (49) had met with the accident in front of Alappuzha Thottapally Mattheri hospital. But his body in naked state was found at Punnapra, which is 15 km away from the accident spot. Police have started investigating the mystery behind the incident.

The accident happened at 2:45 in the morning on Wednesday. A car passenger who happened to see the accident informed a nearby hotel. It was the hotel owner who informed the police about the accident.

The police who rushed to the spot could only find a pool of blood, broken wind shield glass pieces of the vehicle, his purse and ID car.

The Ambalappuzha police soon handed over the information to the nearby police stations. By 3 in the evening, the police got the information that the body was found in front of Alappuzha Kalarkodu Chinmaya School. Police reached the spot and identified the body as that of Sunil.
