THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Vanitha Commission president M C Josephine has responded to the jibes of P C George by saying that his statement that he’d appear at his convenience if a summons is served is without realising the true authority of the Commission.

She added that P C George must not forget the Commission’s power to prosecute people.

P C George had, the other day, scoffed at the Vanitha Commission’s message that they are going to take up a case against him for making derogatory remarks at the young actress who got attacked in Kochi.

He had said that he’d appear before the Commission at his own convenience.
