Cosmopolitan club based, United kingdom has been officially inaugurated by renowned Indian classical dancer Dr Vasumathi Prasad on January 14 at Hengrove Community Centre, Whitchurch. Club president Jose Mathew presided the function. Main speakers were Liberal democrat leader and Hengrove Whitchurch councillor Tim kent , Writer, journalist Manambur Suresh (Keralakaumudi Europe ). Club secretary Mr G.Rajesh delivers the welcome speech and vote of thanks by Premier Committe member Mr Shaji Koorappillil. Club organised a charity event called Swanthwanam (the healing touch) on December 18, raised GBP350 which is donated to Marie Curie Cancer care. The cheque handed over to Mr Peter Whipp of Marie Curie by Club Treasurer Mr Binoy Jose .The Cultural Programmes started with Veena Recital by Mrs Durgaramakrishnan followed by a dance performance by upcoming artist Miss Snehal Sunil. Bristol and BMDJ ,presented lots of sweet melodies songs from all south indian  languages .Singer Jose James (sunny) , UKMA star singer winner Mrs Anu Chandra ,Saji mathew ,Chanchu prasad mohan  ,Manu ,Chandra mohan ,Mekhna ,Arsha were sang beatifully ..Also Super Mimics by Roji Changanacherry was a good entertainer .Cosmopolitan club with   membership of almost eighty members will function from 29 th of january .Cosmopolitan club is a secular club with members of all religions focusing on lots of humanitarian works.
