Onam was celebrated at High commission of India London with all its grandeur. High commissioner of India Navtej Sarna was the chief guest and was delighted to see the cultural diversity of Kerala. Prominent Malayalai businessman and Senior Administrative officer at High Commission, Haridas Thekkummuri coordinated the event.

Rohini Menon gave a speech on the history of Onam to all members of HCI London. Pookkalam arranged by various Malayali staff of HCI was an attraction to all visitors and others. Thiruvathira Kali performed by women of HCI was highlight of the event. The videos showcasing Kerala tourism & Ayurveda played all through the event was attracted by all those who have attended.

 

Kerala group of Restaurants, the renowned South Indian restaurant group in London served Traditional Kerala food to all after the function.
