Malayalee Association of the UK celebrated Onam at Ilford town hall. While the playback singers Biju Narayanan, Jyolsna and Idea star singer fame Sreenadh entertained the Onam audience with sweet songs, MAUK and other artists enchanted them with visually stunning dance programmes. 

The emancipation of women were portrayed in a powerful way through  dance by MAUK artists.  The traditional Chendamelam lead by Vinod Navadhara created the atmosphere of Kerala and Onam.

Dr Balasankar Mannath was the chief guest.  Ravindran Nair chairperson of MAUK welcomed all and R Sambasivan thanked eveyone for the success of the event. The programme was compered by Jaison George and Angelina.   Photos : Sreekumar Kunjiraman
