Kerala Samajam in Whitchurch, city of Bristol is celebrating Onam with grand style this year.

Onam Ponnonam 2016 Programme will be having a variety of cultural & music programmes this year. The programme called Onam Ponnonam will have performances of great artists from India.

Programmes will start at 1 pm at Hengrove community hall in Whitchurch. Will start with lighting of the lamp by Tim Clarke, Honourable Councillor for Whitchurch & Hengrove park .Traditional Onam Lunch with 24 items in traditional banana leaf, will be catered by Hotel Krishna's Inn. Bristol.Live Musical afternoon by Bristol Malayalees DJ .Veena recital by Mrs Durga Ramakrishnan accompanied in Mridangam by Shri Kumbakonam Venketswaran, A Grade Artist of All India Radio, New Delhi, Carnatic Vocal, Jugal bandhi etc. Programme will start with the bharatha natyam performance of Mrs Subha K Vettath of Kalakheshthra Chennai.
